Robert is the loving husband of 43 years and lifelong partner to Johneen Jones (nee Bennett). Not only was “Papa” mom’s husband, but best friend and source of strength. They shared many good times together including countless conversations around the campfire at Pancake. Robert was loving father to David (Alana), Graham (Debbie) and Robbie. Dad was a man of integrity, reliability, generosity and his greatest love was for his family. Papa was a special grandfather to Bennett, Jennah, Rebecca and Megan. Robert was a brother to Barbara Trudeau (late William Trudeau) and was always there for her to lean on. Dad was brother to Roxie Graystone (Debbie) and uncle to Roxie (Kirsten) and Amber Graystone. Dad was brother in law to Jacey Bennett (Rose), Jamie Bennett (Greg), Jean Bennett and Dan Hay and affectionately known to Barry King (Paige) and Gavin King (Christie) as “Uncle Bob”. Robert also leaves behind several cousins in England. Dad and the rest of our family lost Grandma June Graystone in January 2010 (late Fred Jones). The loss of Grandma was heartbreaking; the loss of Dad is devastating. At Robert’s request there will be no funeral service or visitation. Dad developed a strong love for golf. He became a loyal member of Crimson Ridge golf club. He was a curler and enjoyed passing the time with a good book.
